December 7: Our session time is 2:00 pm, so we will be meeting at the church at 11:30 am in order to be on time. Afterward, we will be eating at the Roark’s new house in Lubbock! Estimated time back in Midland is 7:00 pm.

The upcoming youth conference of the Odessa Texas Stake (April 17-19, 2025) will focus on family history. Although details of the conference are still in the planning stages, Stake leadership feels inspired to ask for submissions of your own family history stories.

Stories can be from ANY TIME in your family history, be it the 1800s, 1900s, or just last year. We are especially interested in stories connected to members of the Odessa Texas Stake youth in some way, and we would like an entire range of stories to work with, so please consider stories of all kinds; serious, spiritual, funny, historically significant, and even mundane – as long as they portray and/or promote an aspect of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please submit your family’s pioneer story to: [email protected] on or before September 1, 2024.

As we evaluate submissions and plan their integration, we may ask units to act out, read, or record audio of the stories they submitted either before or during Youth Conference.
